Outreach Activities
Worship Arts
A specially designed worship service for all. Individuals, families, care givers, and friends for those who care and love persons with developmental disabilities. This is orchestrated and presented through; arts media: music, drama, visual arts, storytelling, sign language, puppetry and kinesthetic movement.
Meets on the campus of Bethel College the first Sunday of each month Sept. - April from 4:00 - 5:30 PM.
Meets at First Brethren Church, 4909 S. Ironwood South Bend IN May – August. A team of community volunteers lead the worship service, that shares a monthly theme message welcoming all to participate.

Summer & Winter Retreats
These retreats welcome persons with disabilities to experience God and enrich their own personal journey of faith through a variety of expressive opportunities that promote social and spiritual development.
Winter retreat is held for 3 days the first week in February at First Brethren Church.
Summer retreat is held for 4 days the third week in August at Michiana Christian Service Camp (owned and operated by the Churches of Christ) in Niles, Michigan.
Hosted by a variety of community volunteers, these theme based retreats have provided those who attend a wonderful opportunity to find God's blessings in many ways.

EASE Spiritual Outreach
This program currently meets 2 days per week for 20 persons. Luvability Ministries, Inc. is looking to expand the program to 4 days with 25 attending. Currently this spiritual outreach activity meets at First Brethren Church 9:30 – 3:30. Luvability Ministries, Inc. and the EASE teaching team will be sharing the methodologies and strategies of an effective spiritual outreach to agencies who are interested in providing a spiritual perspective in the lives of those they serve. EASE is based on the curriculum "CREATE A MEANINGFUL DAY" published by High Tide Press ( a leader in disability publications) Joliet, Illinois. The text was written by executive director, Linda Van Dyke. EASE is an acronym for Energy...Attitude...Support and Efforts. All lesson plans reflect the focus in one of the empowering components. An educational focus of 40 learning domains provides a challenging and stimulating day for those who attend.

Grief counseling and funerals
Conducted by members of the Worship Arts Team. Based on the text "Lessons in Grief and Death" Supporting people with developmental disabilities in the healing process.
